Does this work with duck, goose, or quail eggs — not just chicken?
Yes. The egg trays are adjustable — just reposition the dividers to match the egg size you’re hatching. One incubator covers chicken, duck, goose, and quail; you’re not locked into a single species.
Will my eggs actually hatch with this?
The incubator gives your eggs the consistent conditions they need — automatic turning (the #1 reason home hatches fail is forgetting to turn eggs by hand), steady humidity, and even airflow. Hatch success still depends on the fertility and quality of the eggs you start with, but the incubator removes the most common causes of a failed hatch.
Do I need to babysit the humidity levels?
No. The dual auto-refill humidity ports keep moisture steady on their own — you just top off the water every few days instead of refilling a single reservoir constantly. The digital display shows your live temperature and humidity reading at all times, so you always know where things stand without opening the lid.
Power outage during incubation?
Raise the temperature of the incubator, wrap it with styrofoam or cover the incubator with a quilt, and heat the water in the water tray.
The machine stops working during the incubation process?
The machine should be replaced in time. If the machine is not replaced, the machine should be insulated (heating devices such as incandescent lamps are placed in the machine) until the machine is repaired.
How many fertilized eggs die on days 1-6?
The reasons are: the incubation temperature is too high or too low, the ventilation in the incubator is not good, the eggs are not turned, the eggs are re-steamed too much, the condition of the breeding birds is abnormal, the eggs are stored for too long, the storage conditions are improper, and genetic factors.

What is your return policy?
We offer a 30 day return policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase simply contact us at support@mainpaws.com within 30 days of receiving your order and we will make it right. Items must be returned in their original packaging.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
We process orders within 1 to 3 days so please contact us immediately at support@mainpaws.com if you need to modify or cancel. If your order has not yet shipped we will do our best to accommodate your request. Once shipped we are unable to cancel but our return policy has you covered.
