Our Story
From France to Miami — how one dog named Milo inspired a pet store built around one simple idea: pets deserve better.
Making indoor life genuinely better for pets — not just more convenient for their owners.
At 19 years old, I left France to play NCAA Division I soccer at Florida International University. I brought one thing with me that felt like home — my Labrador Retriever, Milo.
Between practice, class, and games, Milo was spending hours alone in a small dorm room. The restlessness, the chewing, the pacing — I knew something was off. That's when I started researching what dogs actually need to feel comfortable and stimulated at home.
I bought my first automatic feeder. Found a proper crate that actually fit him. Added enrichment to his space. The difference was immediate — and it stayed with me long after graduation.
I graduated, stayed in Miami, and launched Main Paws — a pet store built around the products and information that actually make a difference for animals living indoors. Cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, small animals. Every product chosen with one question in mind: does this make life better for the pet?
